Dr. Tamara Greene, M.D., is a board-certified neurologist and the founder of Greene Neurological and Medical Consulting in Alpharetta, Georgia. She has a wealth of experience in general neurology and is committed to providing exceptional care to her patients. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of services, including personal injury evaluations, therapeutic and cosmetic Botox injections, and NFL cognitive examinations, as well as experience with a variety of neurological conditions, including migraines, strokes, dementias, neuromuscular disorders, multiple sclerosis, and epilepsy. Additionally, Dr. Greene is skilled in the interpretation of videonystagmography (VNGs), electromyography/nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCS), and electroencephalography (EEGs).
Dr. Greene obtained her undergraduate degree from Xavier University of Louisiana, and earned her medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine. She completed her neurology residency at UT Houston Health Science Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She also completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at UT Houston Health Science Center. She then completed a second fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine at Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX. Dr. Greene is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. As a member of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), Dr. Greene is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in neurology. She has made significant contributions to the field of neurology through various presentations and publications.
In her spare time, Dr. Greene enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with family.
